Confirming earlier reports, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will provide a 2-year warranty to users of Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, and POCO X3 Pro smartphones. This extended warranty will be valid from the date of purchase.
In a video announcement, Murali Krishnan B, President of Xiaomi India, stated that certain batches of these devices did not meet Xiaomi’s quality standards. As a result, the company is offering the extended warranty as a gesture of goodwill to ensure customer satisfaction.
Additionally, Xiaomi has introduced an upgrade option exclusively for Mi 11 Ultra users. Users who own a Mi 11 Ultra and wish to upgrade to a new Xiaomi device within 9 months of their purchase can avail themselves of this option. The details and terms of the upgrade program will be announced by Xiaomi in the near future.
These initiatives by Xiaomi exemplify the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and after-sales support. By extending the warranty period and offering upgrade options, Xiaomi aims to ensure that users have a positive ownership experience with their devices.
